When Martyn Lawrence Bullard moved into a 1920s villa in the Hollywood Hills, once home to actor Dennis Hopper in the 1960s, inspiration struck. This piece, named after the renowned actor, artist, and collector, embodies a harmonious blend of artistry. The brass leaves feature a striking dual finish: one side showcases a rich, dark vintage brass supporting white glass diffusers, reminiscent of peas in a pod, while the reverse is beautifully treated to achieve a smooth, natural black. With its bold yet minimal design, Hopper evokes mid-century modernism and the beauty of nature, standing out as a powerful and unique tribute to its namesake.
