The Panthella Rechargeable LED Table Lamp from Louis Poulsen represents Verner Panton's exploration of organic forms through geometric precision in Danish design. Panton developed this piece by extending a trumpet-like stem from a stepped circular base to support a hemispherical dome that creates even light distribution. The designer's approach centered on fluid transitions between base and shade, resulting in a unified sculptural profile. The die-cast aluminum construction, paired with an injection-molded opal acrylic shade, offers portable rechargeable functionality and dimmable LED illumination.
