Anglepoise | Type 80 W1 Wall Light — Matte Black

The Type 80 W1 is a wall-mounted sconce from Anglepoise, designed by Sir Kenneth Grange. The shade sits on a sprung joint and rotates through 90 degrees, so the light aims where it is needed — over a book, a bedside table, a work surface — without taking up any of that surface. Where the shade meets the stem there is a deliberate gap, so a little light escapes upward as a halo. The on/off switch is built into the shade itself. Construction is matte-painted anodized aluminum with a steel stem, and a color-matched cover plate is included to finish the junction box.
