Presented by Woud, the LU Pendant is a design by Beaverhausen, a Brussels-based design studio that was founded by couple Mimy A. Diar and Ad Luijten. With a mutual background in art direction and communication, the designer duo expresses a strong sense of storytelling in their pieces. The LU is an exceptional example of this creative criterion, with a contrast of forms and their intersection with each other. Named after the French word for light, ‘lumière,’ the result is a piece that seems to float through a thin circular light source.
