The GUBI Bestlite BL5 Wall Sconce is an iconic design originally designed by Robert Dudley Best in 1930. Representing an important chapter of 20th century modernism, a cross-pollination of aesthetics clashed where British manufacturing and the German Bauhaus school of thought blended together. Best applied the philosophy that fine art and craft could coexist to the Bestlite, resulting in the ultra-modern and functional design seen today. The wall sconce is unique in that is arcs away from the wall, and slides along a vertical wall bracket, allowing you to swing the arm to swing horizontally from the wall, casting task light according to your needs.
