The Satellite Pendant is presented by Gubi. Originally designed by Mathieu Matégot in 1953, it arranges geometric shapes with organic textures to create a sculptural aesthetic. Meant as a nod and tribute to France’s progress in aerospace during the time, this pendant holds a distinctive “Rigitulle” composition, which was a material and technique invented by the designer himself using a fabric-like metallic sheet to create the Satellite’s iconic shape and style.
