Gubi | Semi Pendant in Polished Brass, Large Semi emerged in 1968 from the creative partnership between Claus Bonderup and Torsten Thorup, as a corrective to the cliched cozy image of Nordic style. They wanted to create a lamp with sharply clean lines and, after recognition from the Royal Danish Academy of Fine Arts, it went on to become a Danish best-seller in the ‘80s. The arch-shaped metal shade, in a selection of enameled tones, creates a diffused cone of light. Ideal over a dining table or kitchen work surface.
