The AJ Eklipta Wall / Flushmount from Louis Poulsen was designed by Arne Jacobsen to be utilized for one of his mid-century modernist architectural projects in the 1950s. It was made for Rødovre Town Hall. Your wall sconce can be used indoors, on stairways, and outdoors as a wall lamp. It is composed of powder coated spun aluminum. This minimalistic beauty can be used in various contexts today. The handblown white opal glass shade has a transparent edge, casting a decorative halo of light around the lamp.
