The Dimple LED Wall / Flushmount from RBW reflects the studio's exploration of modern lighting with layered transparency and optical depth. The design centers on concentric circles that form a dimpled surface, generating multiple planes of refraction. Each cast glass layer interacts differently with the LED source, producing graduated illumination that radiates outward from the central point. The anodized aluminum backplate provides structural support while remaining recessive, allowing the cast glass to dominate the visual composition and create ambient illumination.
